Beneath Corian stretches the enormous network of shafts, support structures, maintenance tunnels, pumps, lifts, machine rooms, emergency chambers, and access ways excavated by Diesel Dwarves during construction of the Core.
Some Deepworks tunnels are now effectively underground neighborhoods. Others remain military infrastructure. Dwarven engineers know routes beneath the city that no surface map records, which is comforting until someone remembers that the most important object in the world sits at the bottom of those routes.
