No expedition has reached anything that can confidently be called the center. The closer one approaches, the less useful ordinary geography becomes. Rivers change direction, stone becomes biological, and Feeders appear in forms rarely seen near the shield. Some researchers believe the Impact Scar is the closest thing An'kor has to a visible entrance into Xanaras. Others think calling it an entrance assumes far too much.
